While waiting her and Robert Irving kept me company and showed me all the benefits of my choices as well as explained the accessories I could get with my phone and I chose to purchase. I left the store satisfied and excited to use my new iPhone and Apple Watch! She deserves a medal for staying there until close to figure it out with me! Eric was working with another customer when I arrived for a phone upgrade. While continuing to work with customer #1 he managed to connect my old phone to the new one and transfer everything over. When he’d finished with the 1st customer my new phone was pretty much all set. He explained the changes on my new phone in a clear and helpful way. Even though he’d moved everything to my new phone, I was nervous about giving up my old one until I was comfortable with the new one. Eric was fine with that and told me exactly what I needed to do to send the old one in within the next 30 days. So I went in to ask about how the Mobil Hotspot works on my Samsung Galaxy 6 phone. Joe Besnilian, the manager, easily showed me how so I could use my laptop at my Mom's the following weekend (with no Wi-Fi), using my phone's Mobil hotspot. Easy answer for him, but I was clueless at the time. (Settings/Mobil Hotspot/turn on,etc.). The point is, very helpful and friendly service to a customer not there to buy anything. He did ask how old my phone was and I told him a year - just beyond 12 months. He then told me that I could upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy 8 for only $50 plus taxes. [You need to mail in your old phone to Verizon - cleared to factory settings - to get this upgrade for just Taxes - within 2 weeks after sale.] Well, I had no time to transfer data to a new phone, etc. so I went home, but took his card. Life happened and time got away from me for about 3 weeks. I went back in and now Joe tells me it will only cost me just the taxes (no longer $50 + taxes), because I had made another monthly payment on my SG6 as part of my Verizon bill since I was there last. BONUS: Now for that day till the next day (Oct 10&11), there was an extra deal from Samsung Pay where they will reimburse you with a VISA card for $200 after you buy 5 accessories. You buy them first for $200 (even it it goes over $200), so I got the protective screen, casing, car charger, wireless charger and 32G SD card. Joe provided me with a printed instruction sheet to get this done: You set up the Samsung Pay (all steps listed); upload your receipt; wait 14 days for Samsung reward points to kick in; then cash them in for the $200 VISA card. My receipt was approved by Samsung Pay and now I'm waiting the 14 days. Back to the upgrade to Samsung Galaxy 8: Joe applied the protective screen, mounted the phone in the new casing and starts the transfer of all data from my old phone to new phone and I walk away for the estimated hour it will take. I came back and Andrew picked up where Joe left off after Joe left at 7pm. Everything transferred ok, and he had everything ready for me. My total bill was $260 ($200 for 5 accessories + $60 taxes), and I'm awaiting the Samsung reward points to cash in for the $200 VISA card. [ I'll update when that happens.]I went in a couple days later for a few followup questions and Joe was very helpful again. Throughout the whole process - Great customer service!11-12-17: Updating my 10/26/2017 review.The Samsung $200 rebate deal for signing up for Samsung Pay by uploading phone purchase receipt worked as outlined by the Verizon sales rep. Yay!R McHale03:18 13 Nov 17The screen on my iphone stopped working, so I came into this store expecting that i'd have to buy a brand new phone. I was greeted by a man named David as soon I walked in the door, and he was extremely helpful. He asked me a few quick questions and then explained all of my options. David informed me that I was still under an extended warranty, and he picked up the phone and started the entire process for me. It was an odd feeling to walk out of the store without spending a dime, but I'll be sure to return when I do make my next phone purchase.
